Oak Hills Coalesce
The Oak Hills Coalesce (OHC) School is a combined private basic education institution which has the main purpose of improving the access to quality education in the OR Tambo region of the Eastern Cape province.

OHC aims to bring another wave of education to the region, with a wide range of offerings and facilities for its learners. With more than 95% of schools in the region focused solely on academic, OHC believes that there are many other aspects that learners should be groomed at, alongside with academics. These include sports, recreational, arts and more activities that can be enjoyed by the student, increasing excitement and satisfaction of learning.

This is the most ignored, or rather forgotten aspect of learning in basic education institutions. A reminder needs to be given – and what better way is there to encourage someone other than showing them that it is possible. We aim to be the example, we plan to encourage, we’re here to excite!
OHC will be a combination of all pre and primary school, middle/intermediate, together with high school grade/ classes. We will accommodate at least from Grade 1 to Grade 12. With a variety of facilities, resources and service to enjoy and take advantage of.

Further the quality of learning life and environment in the region for nearly all schools are not competitive to the rest of the country and does not bring much value or excitement to learning. This is why the district is always rated among the lowest in the province and generally nationwide. It is also notable that all aspects of life must adapt to the new fast-paced world driven by technology, considering that we are currently in the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) – which has not been the case for the OR Tambo region. OHC aims not to compete with the current school in the region, private or public but rather encourage and work with the schools in improving the learning environment of learners, the access to quality and relevant methods of teaching and learning but most importantly improve learner confidence and excitement to education.

Our Mission
The Oak Hills Coalesce School will achieve this through close understanding and engagement with our learners to finding the best teaching and learning approaches that are not solely academic but considers the broader life. We will be relevant, adaptive to the world with our learning, for our learners by our learners.
